Humid circumstances were expected to linger along much of the state's eastern regions this next several days as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
The following day was predicted as the most rainy day, with persistent thunderstorm potential predicted across different parts of both states.
Health Warning
Health officials warned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
This warning comes after previous incidents where analogous circumstances led to substantial respiratory problems in the region.
