The head of state conducted a visit to speak to national troops in the Pokrovsk area on the start of the week. Zelenskyy announced that he engaged with soldiers at the operational headquarters of the initial brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately 12 miles from the focal point.

Critical Situation in Pokrovsk

Recent mapping from a local initiative revealed that opposition armies had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it lacked clear dominance by any party. Regional authorities announced a detonation at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to partially collapse, adding that the cause of the explosion was unconfirmed. Ukraine's military said it struck a fuel processing plant at Kstovo in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region east of Moscow. The degree of impact was under evaluation. The local official confirmed an attack by numerous aerial vehicles near the refinery.
